Preliminary evaluation questions

Once you have edited your preliminary task, you will need to evaluate the overall effectiveness of the finished product and reflect upon your technical skills and what you have learnt from completing it.

Comment on the effectiveness of following:

·      How you constructed some key shots and included camera shot, angle and movement (pay close attention to focus and shot distances and use about 3 examples)

·      Mise-en-scene (How important is this? How did have you attempted to create it? Use of costume/props?)

·      How it is edited  (Think about match on action, pace, rhythm)

·      Performance (Is the acting/performance controlled and convincing?)

·      How well planned where you? Are there any ways in which you could have been better planned?

·      What have learned from completing this task?

·      Overall, how effective has your contribution to this task been?
